All Inclusive Education

There are over 66,500 students in Sonoma County public schools. These students and how they view people with disabilities will become our future. Our team of presenters offer inclusive education opportunities for elementary, middle and high school students as well as for adults in a variety of settings. Because when we know better, we can all be better and and make sure the world is an inclusive place for everyone.

We believe an inclusive program consists of:

  • Inclusion and acceptance school presentations targeted to elementary, middle and high school with accompanying teacher's guides and parent communication.

  • Mindset shift presentation for current and future educators where we create a safe space to explore ableism and shift the narrative.

  • Tailored presentations for businesses and community organizations.

  • Inclusive and equitable school campuses where all students belong regardless of placement.

We offer different presentations, to best serve you.

We have many presentations you can choose from and offer both in-person and virtual presentation options. All in person (school) presentations include a letter home and link to activities to further the discussion in your classroom. All virtual presentations will include a teacher guide, recap (in case you assign the video for independent work and then talk about it later in class) and video. After the Presentations we have a variety of ways we will personally answer all questions. We look forward to working with you in strengthening your inclusive and accepting community!

  • Elementary School

We currently offer five unique assemblies that are focused on starting the conversation about disability, acknowledging our fears surrounding people who are different and providing students with practical tools to grow their inclusive “muscles”.

  • Middle/High School

We offer a unique assembly that is focused on starting the conversation about disability, acknowledging our fears surrounding people who are different and providing students with practical tools to help become more inclusive.

  • Parent

In our parent presentation we share the stories of our lives to educate and empower our community to be more compassionate, accepting, and inclusive of people with disabilities.

  • Advocating Effectively For Your Child

This presentation talks about how to effectively advocate for your child by working together with the entities supporting your family. Using the “Beachball approach “we teach parents to first find their people, then find a tangible ask.

  • Inclusive Spaces

In partnership with local businesses and organizations, our Inclusive Space's Program aims to bridge the gap for people with disabilities by promoting accessibility in the community.

  • Summer Camps/Parks & Rec

Our presentation dives into how connection is the key to inclusion. We kick things off by making that connection real for you, sharing stories about our own families and kids.

  • Certificated/Classified Staff & Community Groups

Our presenters use the story of our lives as parents, and also Larkin O’Leary’s experience as a teacher, to help your staff gain a better understanding of how they can create an inclusive place for all.

  • Custom Presentation

We are flexible and excited to partner with you to develop a presentation that will speak to your audience and best serve your goals. Reach out to us today to discuss further.

“I have not been able to stop thinking about your presentation, in the best possible way. Thank you both for sharing your personal stories and the pictures of your gorgeous children. You hit 40-something attendees right between the eyes, with an “aha” moment they will not soon forget.  I am reminded of the ripples in the pond theory.  One rock, creates ripples that can impact far shores.  I believe the message you shared will do the same.”
