Common Ground Society offers ongoing meetups for members of our community, along with special events throughout the year. Here you’ll find a description of our regular meetup groups—spaces to connect, learn, and build meaningful relationships. Caregiver Meetups

  • Join others to delve into discussions about books that highlight disability voices.

  • A welcoming space for caregivers to bond with others who truly understand the joys and challenges of caregiving.

  • A chance for moms to connect with other moms who truly understand their experiences.

  • A space for dads to meet and connect with others who understand their journey.

  • A gathering to collaborate on IEPs, 504 plans, IFSPs, IPPs, or any matters related to medical, special education, disability, or advocacy.

  • An opportunity for partners of neurodivergent individuals to support each other and connect.

Kids & Tweens Meetups

  • A support group tailored for siblings aged 7 to 17 who have a brother or sister with disabilities.

  • A strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming play group for neurodivergent children aged 9 to 12.

  • A fun evening of bingo, buddies and prizes for children ages 9-14.

  • A playgroup designed for children aged five and under and their families - siblings welcome.

  • A gathering for families featuring diverse activities and locations.

Teen & Adult Meetups

  • Enjoy a night of fun, prizes, and bingo, fostering a sense of belonging for neurodivergent teens and adults.

  • Two monthly events for neurodivergent adults to forge new connections.

  • Come and play the game of “Magic the Gathering” with other neurodivergent teens and adults.

  • A welcoming environment for teens and adults with disabilities to connect and engage in a variety of activities with peers.
